About this activity

Breathe in. Log off. Reconnect.

This isn’t just a Smoky Mountains tour — this is your chance to step outside the noise, slow down, and experience the kind of beauty that quiets the mind and fills the soul.

We’ll guide you through the best of the Great Smokies — a curated waterfall tour and hiking tour experience that blends scenic wonder with grounding moments of presence. We designed this tour for people like you — travelers who crave something real. Something grounding. Something that stays with you long after the hike ends. You won’t need to figure out the route, or stress over where to go — we’ve done all the planning so you can simply show up and feel the place.

Because the truth is: you’re not booking a trip.
You’re choosing presence over productivity.
You’re choosing awe over algorithms.

Let’s make this adventure yours.

Why This Tour is Different

Most tours show you the Smoky Mountains. We help you feel them. This experience is designed to slow you down, ground you in nature, and awaken a sense of presence you didn’t know you needed. From sunrise trailheads to secret waterfalls, every step is curated to help you unplug from stress and reconnect with something deeper — nature, your people, and yourself.

Who This Smoky Mountains Tour Is For

This experience was designed for:

  • Professionals needing a hard reset from burnout

  • Want a waterfall tour in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that goes beyond the typical photo stops

  • Solo travelers looking for clarity, calm, and community

  • Folks who want nature, but not the stress of planning it

If you’re craving real connection — with yourself, with nature, with others — this is for you.

What to Know Before You Book

  • This tour includes moderate hiking (several miles, nothing extreme)

  • You don’t need to be “outdoorsy” — just open to trying

  • We go rain or shine (unless unsafe), because nature doesn’t wait for perfect

  • We’re a small business — we take your experience personally

Why People Book With Us

Because we don’t just guide tours. We create space. We design trips that help you feel again. We’re not a big box operator. We’re a tiny, mission-driven team that believes wild places change people — and we’re here to help you experience that, deeply and meaningfully.

We know you’ve seen a million tour listings. But here’s the truth — most are built for quantity. We’re built for quality and connection. This isn’t about checking off a national park on your list. It’s about remembering how good it feels to be wild and present.

Ready to Adventure Differently?

Booking is simple. Spots are intentionally limited. Because the Smokies weren’t made for crowds — they were made for moments like this.

Frequently asked questions

We can pick you up from your downtown Gatlinburg hotel. If you are not staying in downtown Gatlinburg, we will meet you at the Sugarlands Visitors Center (1420 Fighting Creek Gap Rd, Gatlinburg, TN 37738).

If you’d like lunch included, we’ve got you covered. A couple days before your tour, your guide will reach out to get your order. Think picnic-style deli sandwiches with fresh veggies and condiments on the side — you’ll just let us know your choice of meat, cheese, and bread. Prefer something simple? We’ve got a classic PB&J or a fresh veggie option, too.

Just a heads-up — if you’re parking anywhere in Great Smoky Mountains National Park for more than 15 minutes, you’ll need a parking tag. It’s not an entrance fee.

You’ve got three options when it comes to parking tags:

  • Daily tag for $5

  • Weekly tag for $15

  • Annual tag for $40

Read more about parking tag basics. Also, the park has some Free Entrance Days each year when parking tags aren’t required at all.

Honestly, it depends on what you’re hoping to experience.
Spring is incredible for wildflowers and rushing waterfalls. Summer brings lush green canopies and cool mountain creeks to dip your feet in. Fall? That’s the showstopper — changing leaves, golden light, and crisp air. Winter is quieter and peaceful, especially if you love frosty mornings and wide-open trails. There’s no wrong time, just different kinds of beautiful.

Not usually! The highest elevations in the Smokies are just over 6,000 feet, which is much lower than ranges like the Rocky Mountains National Park. Most folks don’t experience altitude sickness here — maybe just a little extra huffing and puffing on steeper trails. We pace things in a way that lets you soak it in, not suffer through it.

Great question! Your guide will talk with you upon arrival to design your day. The tour is friendly for folks new to hiking and families alike. The trails are mostly moderate — nothing super steep or crazy technical — so you can take your time, breathe in the fresh mountain air, and enjoy the scenery without feeling rushed. If you’re a total beginner, no worries at all. We’re here to support your pace and make sure it’s a fun, doable adventure for everyone.
