First off our skilled guides will choose the best trail for your group, leading to a stunning waterfall or a breathtaking mountain ridge. Along the way, discover local wildlife, plants, and waterways.

Prior to your hike, your guide will contact you to assess the group's experience and customize the adventure based on your preferences for sights and duration. On the day of your excursion, arrive at Headwaters Outfitters for check-in and to complete our waiver if not already done. You'll then meet up with your guide and, if driving separately (required for those with dogs), follow them to the trailhead.
We'll proceed with rain hikes as long as conditions permit, ensuring safety. Dress in rain gear and waterproof boots, and bring a change of clothes for post-trip comfort. It's advisable to always carry a rain jacket. Morning hikes are preferred to avoid common afternoon thunderstorms in summer. If weather forces cancellation, we'll reschedule or refund your trip.
We happily welcome well-behaved, trained dogs on our guided hikes, provided they remain on a 6 ft leash and you arrange your own transportation. Adhering to Leave No Trace principles, it's essential to pack out all pet waste.
