This full-day climbing adventure tour is ideal for those with some experience who want to hone their skills or want an unforgettable climbing tour. No prior climbing or outdoor experience is necessary to participate. However, all students should have a genuine interest in the outdoors and the ability to handle strenuous activity.
We appreciate at least three days notice to make a reservation. Within three days of your preferred dates, please message us on Guider and we will do our best to accommodate you.
At the beginning of each season, all KMAC Guides staff participate in multi-day training clinics. These clinics cover the specific sites and terrains where KMAC Guides operates. For rock climbing, we simulate classes and set up “top rope” anchors and systems for peer critique and evaluation. We use handouts and discuss all aspects of KMAC's risk management, from ensuring the emotional safety of students to executing “escape the belay” maneuvers at the top of a rappel. Our guides have received training and/or certifications from the American Mountain Guides Association (AMGA), appropriate to the AMGA’s Scope of Practice.
