Known also as “Forest Bathing” or Shin-rin Yoku as it was originally stated in Japan, where the practice began. The translation would be better stated: “To take in the forest environment.” There is no swimsuit required, nor actual bathing.

The goal of a Forest Therapy Guided Walk is to allow our minds to reset, refocus, and refresh. As a Certified Forest Therapy Guide, I will lead your group through a series of iniatives to open our senses and slow our minds to better take in the benefits the Forest can offer to us.

This is not a strenuous walk. In fact, we do not go very far at all, and can be catered to anyone’s physical needs, including Wheelchair based.

This is not a typical Eco-Tour where I would discuss Natural History, Identify Plants and Animals, and things of that nature.

After our time together, you will have a deeper understanding, and a “toolbox” of sorts, that you can use to further practice Forest Therapy on your own.
