After meeting, we will caravan to our first stop inside the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. After introductions and an overview of what the weekend will hold, we will venture out on our first hike. During our time here, we will spread out our yoga mats for a gentle afternoon yoga flow. After our practice, we will take a short drive to Camp Atagahi. Upon arrival, after checking in to your tent, we will have a delicious dinner before settling in and enjoying the campfire.
Our morning begins with hot tea or coffee before enjoying a freshly cooked breakfast. Once fueled for the day, we will head out for our 2nd adventure of the trip! We will eat lunch on the trail and keep ourselves limber with yoga on an Appalachian Bald or under the cover of a Smoky Mountain canopy of trees. After, we’ll have time to stop at the GSMNP Visitors Center. Once back at camp, we will enjoy free time before dinner and another evening spent under the stars by the campfire.
Another quiet morning begins with tea or coffee and a hearty breakfast. Today we will visit an iconic mountain stream along an old railroad bed. Along the way we will stop to admire a few mountain waterfalls. Those brave enough to swim can take a dip! We will eat lunch on the trail and have time for quiet meditation and gentle yoga before returning to camp for the evening. At camp, we will enjoy free time before dinner and another evening spent under the stars by the campfire.
Spend the final morning soaking up the peaceful tranquility of Camp Atagahi. Our morning begins with gentle yoga to prepare us for the journey home before enjoying our final meal together. After breakfast, we will pack up our things and check out before heading to our last Smokies trailhead. On this final hike, we’ll follow another gorgeous mountain stream past remnants of days gone by. An area filled with history and peaceful surroundings completes our trip.
